Phil,

I did check the old BTS forum (about 500 posts) to see if the Juggernaut scenario had ever been discussed in any detail. It was not.

Additionally, I don't believe that scenario was migrated to HTTR.

Sorry.

None that I know.
The closest thing I have is this :

I posted this some time ago to show clever moves from the AI.

I played the Allies, the AI, playing the Germans.

1) German attacked on my right flank. I had to divert forces from my right attack on Deelen to protect the flank. I lost the initiative there.
2) After I took Deelen, I pushed for the central and more crucial objective.
3) The AI found the hole in the defense and attacked Deelen.
Taking the central objective proved very problematic. I didn't make it and lost too many units in the woods out there.

I never played played it as Axis, but here are my advices.

You are on the defense, the Allies have to attack to win.
1) Keep a reserve (eventually wait for reinforcement) to build a valid counter-attack.
2) Objectives are less important than casualties in the scenario. Avoid keeping them "at all cost". Retreat if necessary. Only keep the central objective as a priority. That's what the AI is programmed for, and it is good strategy.
3) Terrain on west side will favor the ennemy manoeuvers, I'd defend on the east.
4) In the west, just delay the ennemy by keeping lots of small "blocking forces" at cross-roads, in woods, in villages, etc ... With high aggro but low losses. After they retreat, put them somewhere else, etc ...
5) Use several firebase, as depicted above, and keep everybody on-call with slow rate of fire. The AI will take care of calling the arty for you.
6) For the counter-attack, play it as above : a first flanking attack, followed by a big punch in the hole being hopefully open. Don't forget that it is more important to delay the ennemy and infllict casualties.

I have to say that this scenario is not my favourite, too many units, not enough space to move, too much emphasis on attrition versus manoeuvre.

See ya,

JeF.
