It's international woman's day (March 8)

Post by MrsWargamer »

Ok, like you need another reason to love me :)

But, it made a good excuse to buy some models haha :)

Picked up some Airfix Vintage Classics figures sets. The Raf and the USAF and the Luftwaffe sets. 72nd scale. Soft vinyl. Hopefully not too much mold flash. Need them to accessorize my aircraft collection. I have many (aircraft).

Nope. Need no excuse what so ever. [:)] With that said I like all that are here. [:)] Except the trolls, and spammers. I might make an exception for Soojan. [:D]

And need no special day either. Although a wargamers day would be nice. [:D]

You reminded me that I need to buy some models. Been thinking about beginning building some again. [:)]

Feel a bit sad now that not one of my models have survived to this day. [:(] So time to get a new collection. [:)]

I need to get stuff out of my storage unit then I can also do some trains and model stuff. Then see how a cat reacts to a train suddenly moving! [X(]

But why limit women to just one day? [&:]

Does that mean the rest of the days are for men and boys? [;)]

Not as yet.

I do have the Susan B Anthony Barbie though. It's not very expensive as well.

Is the eleanor barbie dog ugly? Never understood why people say she was ugly, she may not be a classical beauty but she was not that bad looking.

When I first read that I wondered why they would make a Barbie dog named Eleanor. [:D]

I don't think she was Playboy material, but in her later years, she looked like anyone's granny.

My mother looked a lot like a typical granny when she was 80, but when she was 21, I can assure you, my dad had good reason to want her.

Here is Miss Eleanor.

At least the eyebrows don't meet in the middle. [8D]

Seriously, she was quite pretty and then she got old. Time is not kind to many of us. Whoa, big picture.

Yep.
I'm 60 next year.

Without a word of a lie, I am constantly mistaken as 35 or so. It's confusing. I get it from all age ranges and genders. The first few times, you laugh off. The first 20 times is WTF?. I'm well past 20 times now. It sure made online dating a pain. Yes, dear, the pictures are recent. You're how old?... 29!! Err no, I don't think we can date honey. Sheesh, that's 2 years old than my son. Ewww.

It was depressing in a way. I was on a 50+ site at one time a few years ago. I finally figured out how to filter out anyone younger than 50. The results were comically depressing. Oh man, they're all old. Am I supposed to look that old too? Life can sometimes be annoying while supposedly being generous.

Ten day old opened beer left out in the sun. [:D]

Old can happen real fast. One day you look in the mirror and you don't look bad at all. Next day you wonder who the hell that is.

I suppose I shouldn't complain.

Wait, why am I even complaining, to begin with :)

I look like my own daughter. When I put my picture next to my son's I don't even look like his OLDER sister :)

Weird.

Just do NOT call me a gilf. I have trouble with milf.
