Is there a way to remove zones?

Post by lunario »

I'm fighting a Major now.
It created several cities(zones) that only have couple of thousands of pops around the front line.
I occupied the cities and with no happiness, no loyalty and no population, it seems pointless to keep the zone.
I can always found my own city where I wanted.

So is there any way to remove a city?
I tried close all the assets of the city but that just leave me with an empty city..[:@]

If you can remove all the population and assets. Easiest to do on enemy city, use plenty of 50+ MT nukes and some turns.

That's called nuclear engineering.

There us no way to remove Zones that I am aware off. However if the AI only has micro-cities, that might be a bug worth reporting.

I tried. Artillery only blows up assets. 20 turns of constant shooting with multiple regiments of tube, rockets and missiles = no pop damage.

*Maybe* some of the higher autocracy cards might work.

You could just minimize the Zone of that city and let them wallow in their filth/wait for them to all migrate.

Yes, as 'zgrssd' stated...just repaint the zones per the cities you want to have less or more territory.

Even with no assets no farms (with artillery blowing it all on turn 1) and totally surrounded, the population refused to die off below a certain point.

I was very infuriated that it ruined my planned grid of cities (was trying the Commerce/mass Light Industry trick that run).

I was rather thinking of the no-profile-conditions Interior Policies-created, Staff-executed "Expel Population" stratagem.

Is this even possible ?

But that's not what he wants to achieve ?

What he wants to archieve is not possible - and I said so above.

So I gave him the next best thing I could think off.

AI have its capital and two/three higher level cities.
Border cities(which the AI created after the war began, at least 3 of them) have only couple of thousands of pop.
It seems its not a bug, just my bad luck[8|]
