Can someone tell me where I can "purchase" the SPWAW v7.0 game vs downloading it, 420mb download on a dialup takes forever, I'd just as soon purchase a cd if it's possible????

Ravinhood: The game is not for sale, as you know, but find a message from "Les the Sarge" and send him a PM and he'll burn you a copy for mailing expenses etc.
If you can't find him in these forums go to the Wargamer forum. If that doesn't work repost here. Good luck

While Chief's advise is correct and respectable, may I suggest another one?

Go to the e-store and buy MegaCampaign WatchTower(this is the only one available in CD, still), which contains Spwaw 7.0, too.
This way you'll give a helping hand to MatrixGames' effort, too

OR, maybe better, be patient for few more weeks, and buy the NEW MecaCampaign Screaming Eagles, which will contain the latest Spwaw relaese(8.00) with all the new bells and whistles: now you'll be up pto date, indeed!

private message me with your mailing info and I'll send you a cd for the costs of mailing and media(within US I think its less than 5 dollars). I put SPWAW 7.1, all patches, some cool links, and even SPWW2/SPMBT on it for contrast. Joys of broadband connection. Let meknow.

Thanks folks for your suggestions and helpful ways to get SPWAW.

I can wait for the 8.0 and PAY for the CD, I believe in supporting good games with $$ when I can, but, I couldn't find SPWAW anywhere online or in stores in my area where I could buy it.
