Yesterday marked a full year that I have been working exclusively from home. There are many perks to it, and I really enjoy it. One of the perks is being lazy about shaving. By no means does my "beard" grow fast at all so I've been able to go 4-5 days easily without shaving without having to go to the office every day. It's been a little over 2 weeks this time and it's really starting to itch and bother me, but I can't shave yet. You see, my Carolina Hurricanes are on an 8 game winning streak since the last time I shaved and there is no way I can bring them bad luck by shaving now! [:D]

And who is Sverge? Is that a common name in US? Sounds a bit rare to me. Although I do think I encountered it before.

Sverge is something that at least one of my long ago ancestors spoke. At least none of that cod board food has stayed with the family dining habits. I don't believe that they were from the area that ate that rotting herring. From the other side of the family are things like Potica and strudel. [:D]

I had a philosophy teacher in college who stated in class that East Germany was better than West Germany. So I asked him why then were so many people leaving East Germany. He said that he meant culturally that East Germany was better. I replied that you can't eat culture!
