Is there any map available for planning use?
Is there any artistic map as alternative like the one done in old WitE?

Six useful maps here (2 in each sector; "The Northern Sector" link, etc.):

Should a map for WitE2 be available?

There are 122 maps, 6 in Appendices in
Atlas of the Eastern Front 1941-45 by Robert Kirchubel, published by Osprey Publishing.
ISBN: 978 1 4728 0774 8.
It helps the scenario designer a great deal, I can imagine.

No - the map is created in game as a mosaic. You could create one by pasting screenshots together.

No - but then again the game hasn't even been released yet; but I'm sure someone will mod one up in a week or two after it does. After all it only took us two years to develop if from the WitW map.

I'm sure someone can make a full-sized planning map after the game is released! [:)]

Actually I use the six maps mentioned (such as "The Offensive by Army Group North 22-30 June 1941"), all six of which depict corps movement in relation to cities and towns (through the end of July, for all three Army Groups). Using this I create a spreadsheet with hex targets for each corps. At least I did this for DC:Barbarossa (as well as having tabs for other administrative tasks; R&R units, managing reinforcements, etc.). When playing WitE1, although I created no spreadsheet, I do use these maps to guide the movement of the various German corps.

By the end of July - if not sooner - the Soviet deployment (and pincer movement opportunities I took advantage of) often means that the historical corps movement often no longer applies.
While there exist other maps covering this topic, these seem to work for me.
