Looks Like he has chosen to fight Guadacanal further south and closer to your major bases than his own. Attacking New Caledonia is usually an earl 42 Japanese expansion move not late summer of 42. Good luck and in my game as I too am the Allies it looks by opponent is going to do the same thing yours is and it is now mid June 42.

I would never, EVER do something as foolish as conduct Japanese Invasion in late-August/early-September 1942. That would be STUPID!

August 30, 1942

The Allied TFs disappear. Shame. The Japanese were prepared to give battle. Oh, well...

At Cairns, Aust the first assault occurs yielding an immediate 2-1 result lowering Forts from 3 down to 2. Looking very promising!

So?[&:]

How about that Steak and Cheese, with everything on it and Sweet Onion dressing? [:'(]
Subs should be eaten, not depth charged.[;)]

That is funny. OK. YES--I do have a Subway but steak and cheese sandwich is not appropriate. A chicken-bacon-ranch is better. It comes with DOUBLE CHEESE!

Not saying that anything I write is cheesy of course.

Just a point of clarification...

Oh good, maybe I will try that next although ranch is not my favorite. I have some coupons for subway, including a BOGO one![:D]

Humor helps keep any depression away and releases natural endorphins which can get you HIGH! Both are good things and the later one is legal.

I am enjoying the commentary from both sides. Although if your opponent had a separate one, someone could post some pictures for comments . . . [;)]

No that would be far too early in the war for a major JIII invasion[:D]. 43/44 is far more par for the course[;)]

I was just his economics minister and not his personal mental health therapist at the time. That was one of the reason I became his therapist and the family one to boot. His wife is the sane one of the two. [:D]

Michael speaks the TRUTH here!

Paula is the sanest one of the family. Course...that is relative since we're talking about me, a 17-Year Old John, and a 14 1/2 Year-Old Christopher...

That Chicken, Bacon, Ranch sub is very good. I also got an order of the steak - just the meat, nothing else. My cat enjoys that . . . [:D]

September 1, 1942
Cairns, Aust

The new month starts well as Cairns falls to a two division assault. The attack gains a 4-1 with 518 Japanese Cas while the Aussies (and Americans) lost 1546, 45 Guns, and 30 Vehicles.
