Happiness increases/decreases don't add up

Post by Solaristics »

I've noticed that summing the different happiness increases and decreases itemised on the tool tips that shows the net change (the little green and red triangles) don't add up. I've only been playing for a few weeks and I seem to remember they used to ... maybe. Perhaps this is due to the impact of fear and danger. Not sure. If so, these should be itemised on the tool tip.

If you find out the reason let us know :D. Do you have enough money to pay wages?

It's been happening in my game... but for Population rather than Workers.

The wages issue when present seemingly gives a hidden -10 Worker Happiness / round penalty ?

A few thing are not properly logged in the Tooltip.
Fear, Danger and Unrest are randomized (both impact and if they apply) but in my experience they are properly indicated.

Check the detailed Report under Reports -> Zones -> Specific Zone
But if it is a -10 on the workers, there is a 99.99% chance you are running ouf of money during turn resolution. And the Zone Report will say so.
