shout out

Post by ruskicanuk »

I've played many ww2 strategy games including Gary Grigsby's World at War (which is a fantastic game), his more insane War in the East/West (hard core simulation), Hearts of Iron, and a number of others. I am convinced that this one is the best overall balance of complexity, fun, "what if" and strategy. The tension is incredible and they managed to make Naval war equally interesting (many titles really suffer from an uninteresting naval simulation which is obv hard to pull off). It's a work of art. Well done developers!

Agreed the series really hits the sweet spot and the developers are very attentive to player feedback. It's a great community!

Yup. During the pandemic, this game and its sister titles help keep my spirits up.

Plus, the developers really move their tails for you, so three cheers for SC2 all around. [8D]
