construction totally stuck?

Some of my assets being constructed are totally stuck. I'm certain I have enough raw materials since none of them are dropping to 0. Could it be not enough workers? How can I check?

Have a look at the asset report at the bottom of the screen. Anything in red will show a missing resource required for building. In yellow it is diminished but still building. It could be that you need machines. If it is workers then they will show in red as '0'.

Volcanic Energy I is being built. Metal, infra, and machines are all white zeroes. Workers is a yellow 100, but it's been at 1.6t left for abouts 20 turns. Even at 100 workers, it says it needed 1100, it should have been built in 11 turns, right?

Did you accidentally block off logistics points from reaching the asset?

bottlenecks view shows it's located on a blue-condition sealed road.

Deep core gas extractor has also been stuck for ages despite my having all the resources. And that's in my main city so no logistics issues are even possible (I only have one city).

Oh I think I figured it out. I was missing high tech parts. Couldn't tell initially since it did not display on the image, only on the mouseover popup note.

Where do I get high tech parts (besides trading for them)?

Scavenge them from artifact sites or research hi-tech industry to unlock a factory that produces them.

What bad fate cards are worth taking?
The whole purpose of those cards is to build fate points. So however many you need.

You want to be well prepared for Rebellion.
Avoid Danger like the Plague. It is the one thing with the biggest impact and hardest to get rid off.
Fear is mostly bad, but has some usefullness in supressing unrest. Mostly for Authoritarians however.
Unrest can just be fought with Fear, Security points and Troops stationed there.
