I see that you are splitting almost all of your armour into regiments...Will this overload the corps HQs command capacity ? if so...Is that of no big importance at this stage of the campaign in your oppinion ?
Will splitting units into regiments reduce their preparation points for next turn or does it not matter ? will overloaded HQs reduce preparation points ?
You seem to have been withdrawing many of the armoured regiments somewhat at the end of the turn and are actually hugging the surrounded enemy units...Why is that ? Is it to try and keep the pockets as small as possible and not allow the russians to flip as many hexes in their turn...or some other reason ?
All of my Corps are under limit for Command Points of 12(in assualt mode). The PZ Armies are also under limit of 45 because of Assault mode. I do have Army group Center a bit overloaded at the moment but will rectify that shortly. (By the way it does not cost AP's to change HQ's in WITE2 like in WITE1. You just incur Malice, so pretty easy to keep within Command Point)
I am hugging units with flipped hexes in front of me in most areas. With Soviet reduced MP's provides a decent buffer. Plus it is "always" my way of doing pockets. I always try to give the Soviets as little movement room as possible. The less they move the better. I have been doing that for years. Although I will make large pockets if necessary but you will notice in this AAR I strive to eliminate pockets in one turn. A non moving target is easier to eliminate
