I wonder if that stretch of canal will be considered questionable now considering they must have mangled that portion of the canal in the efforts to free the ship.

If they make the ships much larger, they might need to dramatically increase the width in some portions.

It has moved, they brought up more tugs and got it one at high tide.

They have to check the bottom of the ship, it was on an unexpected rock. They have to move it to a lake. No other ship is allowed to pass it for now, they also have to check the canal area and especially the bottom where the ship was to see how much went into the bottom of the canal and if they need to work on it right away.

They may end up making a second canal. Might as well they already have some spots that are doubled up.

Think of a semi-tractor and boxed trailer with a wind coming from the side. They can and will be blown over, they will get tired and lay on their side. All of those shipping containers will act like a sail and with them tightly packed, little air can flow through/around them.

The reason why bicycles can operate in windy conditions unless it, or the operator, is wearing sails [:)]!

Cross fire and cross winds are not sail friendly, but question the significance of sales.
Being blown by friendly wind is the most interesting endeavor to balance out.

a suction expert has done the math and determined that it would take 80 of the best tugs the world has to offer to pull it free.

It seems that expert wasn't correct!

I guess the other seventy-eight tugs are not in the picture? [:'(]

They are getting off easy. Should have been twice that. Help pay to get a parallel canal built. [;)]
