T14 Air Phase:

I adjust the Recon directives and remove the Ground Attack directives from last turn. I don't think they are worth it unless I go for both rail lines. I also readjust the Naval Patrol directive to concentrate better on Sevastopol and isolate the city again.

T14 Freight:

Still getting more than needed but it is close and the total supplies received is getting lower. A worrisome situation with bad weather just about here.

T14 AGN:

18th Army assaults Oranienbaum and reduces the fort level by one. 16th Army is fairly stationary holding the flank. 4th PG pushes further ahead and now has a spearhead only 40 miles from cutting off Leningrad from rail supply.

T14 AGC:

Rzhev falls to the 3rd PG while 2nd PG is trying to push east. 2nd and 4th Armies continue their drive eastward too. 9th Army is just holding the line.

T14 AGS:

Everyone continues to press eastward. The Crimea is falling fast and Sevastopol is isolated again. The Rumanians are gaining position to attack next turn and try to reduce some of the fort levels.

The freight info is intresting but i don't fully understand how to read this screen. According to the screens provided by you in this AAR the panzergroups have recieved pretty much double or tripple the amount of supplies that they need during the entire campaign. Accordingly their supply stocks ought to be completally overflowing with exess supplies. But i belive that that is not the case...It most certainly was not the case IRL.

Should i read the screen something like this...

- Sup Rec...is the supplies arrived by train at the depots supplying the particular formation or did that amount of supplies actually reach the attached units ?
- Sup lost...Should i remove this number from the Sup Rec number to get the amount of supplies that actually was delivered to the units or did the full amount in the Sup Rec arrive ?

I think it must be that final supply received = SupRec - SupLost?

Otherwise 2nd PzG would've received more than double the needed supply, while fighting 100+ miles from the closest depot.

Yepp...these numbers are somewhat strange. Come august if not sooner the germans were having some serious supply problems IRL as far as i recall. These numbers does not seem to show this.
It would be most kind if someone who knows how to interpret them could explain...

Honestly I don't know for sure how to read it myself. I just know how to keep track of it for general trends. I THINK that the amount lost is not counted as received but rather it was wasted effort. I think this because my panzer groups all seem to have high MPs and good combat values unless they are well beyond the supply net (such as PGs 2 and 3 at the moment) and have had to send their own trucks back for supplies.

I checked the documentation and it really does not tell you much either.

T15 Supply Net North:

Supply traces are getting a bit too long in some areas but I need the combat units to keep driving forward so it is what it is.

T15 Supply Net South:

Things are actually looking better here than in the north. The ports in the Crimea are now active and helping out with the supplies.

T15 Air Phase:

I adjust the Recon directives and leave the Naval Patrol alone.

T15 Freight:

I think I can safely say that the supply net is working but it is at its limits at this time.

T15 AGN:

18th Army attacks Oranienbaum again and lowers the fort level to 3. 16th Army continues to advance on the right flank. 4th PG almost forms a pocket while advancing to the east of Leningrad and is now seriously threatening the supply lines to the east from Leningrad.

T15 AGC:

9th Army continues to advance into the Valdai Hills pushing back the Soviet defenders. 4th and 2nd Armies are also continuing to advance towards Orel. 3rd PG has helped stabilize the Kalinin bulge. 2nd PG has formed a pocket to the east of Vyazma and is now within 40 miles of Moscow. The Moscow government has fled the city.

T15 AGS:

6th, 17th, and 11th Armies grind their way to the east. 1st PG pulls out of the front line for some refitting and recovering CPP. The Rumanians, on the other hand, are celebrating another great victory as they take Sevastopol. The assault started with a German infantry corps from the 11th Army lowered the fort level to 4. Then an assault with five Rumanian divisions lowered the fort level to 3. Then an assault of the Rumanian Mountain Brigades storm the city and force the Soviet defenders to retreat. The three Soviet rifle divisions (yes that was all there was in Sevastopol) retreat out of the city and will be easy pickings for the Rumanians next turn. Yalta is also captured so it is a clean sweep of the Crimean peninsula west of Kerch.

T15 OOB:

The Soviets are still under 3M men so things are looking good for keeping them down. I am suspecting that the reason I have not had massive Soviet counterattacks is that the manpower is under 3M. But bad weather is coming soon so it will be important to keep the Soviets down.

T15 Ground Losses:

The Soviets have lost over 3M men so they have lost over half of their manpower from the start of the war. 2M of them were captured. The Axis have lost 416K men which hurts some but is well within the historical amount.
