Yes--She is.

That being said, my frustration over the carriers NOT flying sorties is driving me NUTS!

Eastern KB
I made a PERFECT Full Speed jump from the East Coast of Aussieland to a few hexes from Koumac. Enemy cruisers TFs (at least 4-5 CA-CL) within my seven hex range and...wait for it...NOTHING flew. Damnation. Perfect chance to attack and strike a solid blow on the exposed Allies and no luck.

Western KB
I had more no sorties then flown sorties with these guys. Sinkings should be double or even triple what they actually were. STUPID!

Just ranting a little...

On the bright side, we are about to force the surrender of a nice number of American units at Noumea!

Just remember the Tone's float plane at the battle of Midway. Then the next plane in that area with a broken radio.

I have not seen the replay. So I wonder if a CV got a sub attack or did the night bombing run work. Not my fault the IJN parked a CVTF into a port within range of my b24s. top it off with 100% moonlight...

I foolishly did not save the turn before sending it back to Paul. Will Post the results from my side once I get the turn back from my enemy.

To forestall all sorts of commentary and excitement, we will compare the picture of Amagi from her TT hit with her numbers after the hedonistic, soulless, westerner bomber attack.

As promised, I have a screen shot of one of the 2 b24 sqn that made that night raid. Nothing remarkable.
1. I note the unit has a good commander. I see three pilots w/ experience over 60. I also see see 3 bomb hits.
2. The raid was extended range, moderate rain, at night, w 100% moonlight.
3. Amazing. Poor John. He probably feels just like the Italians after Taranto.[8D][:D][8D]

OK.

Big turn just run but I want to deal with Amagi first. As seen on the screenshot Posted earlier, IJN Amagi (sister to Akagi--built on the BC hull) took a TT eight days ago from the SS Amberjack. Her damage shots, as shown in the Posted screenshot, were: SYS 7 and FLOT 13 (9 Major).

Soooo...we FINALLY make it to link-up with the Kido Butai and--just to erase some SYS Damage, I decide to disband her into LaFoa. In comes those B-24s and she takes THREE 550lb bombs.

Here is the current screenshot of IJN Amagi:
