New to the Game

Hi all

I have just bought the game- looks amazing if not somewhat daunting. Want to learn how to play as the Axis. Any advice where I'm best to start.

1. Read the one page guides

2. Play the tutorial scenario going along with the detailed step through in the manual.

3. Skim through the manual sections covering the Ground game.

4. Play the tutorial scenario again without referring to the manual's step through.

5. Play Road to Minsk with the AI Air Assist on. This is a short enough scenario that you do not need to worry about logistics.

6. Go back through the manual for the Ground game, HQs, rail repair, and leaders.

7. Try Road to Leningrad with the AI Air Assist and using the AI Logistics button for supply. You will need to manually expand your rail network but not have to worry about depots or the air game.

8. Read the manual and go from there.

Hi Keensy, I suggest you look to YouTube and Strategy Gaming Dojo's series of playlists there .He has recorded tutorials on the basics and a "let's play" series where he starts and continues an axis campaign.

I'd also add there's some very useful information to be gleaned in the 'War Room' sub-forum. Some of the AAR's on here can also be informative. Happy hunting[:)]
