Printed Manual Ship Date

Post by KG_Chipaev »

Loving the game so far!

Per the main store page: "The first 1000 manual orders will begin shipping on April 16th.
The remaining orders will begin shipping in the first week of May."

Is there any way to know which of these groups I am in? Will we be notified when our physical copy ships?

Much appreciated! [&o]

We hope to start shipping manuals out next week. We just received the air-shipped 1,000 manuals at the end of last week. If yours is shipped out, you should receive a shipment notification. As far as I know, the first 1,000 were spoken for (and more) in the pre-orders, so only those who ordered before release are likely to have shipments sent out during April. The rest will go out as soon as the ship arrives with the rest of the print run.

Exactly the same size as the WiTW manual.

EDIT: It seems like people are starting to get emails saying their manual has shipped. Is there some reason someone who bought the game on March 4th would get a physical manual before someone who bought it on March 2nd? I wasn’t thrilled to discover that today.

Hi Jack,

The orders are being processed from the date they were placed, so an order on the 4th will not be processed before one placed on the 2nd. Not sure if they might be confusing the time of purchase maybe? Either way that's how they are being processed, so you will have your copy sent out before them (and depending on shipping times should hopefully receive it before them)

That’s good to hear. I’m sure they meant the 4th. Nothing to do at this point but wait, I suppose. Thanks for responding so quickly!

EDIT: It’s shipped! Thanks guys.

Check your spam folder. Mine was there despite adding Slitherine fulfillment's email to my contacts, as well as marking the prior message important. No logic to those spam filters at all, it seems.

I did, nothing. I got the original confirm for order fulfillment on the second, so I'm assuming I will get my ship email soon. Maybe it's due to what shipping option I chose. Not freaking out, yet!

Still nothing - I emailed support. I pre-ordered like hours after the page was live, so I know I'm in the queue.

Please note, shipping has started - it has far from completed. It will take days to work through the first 1,000 copies, then once those are all shipped there will be a delay until the sea shipment arrives before the remaining orders ship out. We are shipping them in the order they were received.

I get that but if I ordered on the 2nd why are people who ordered 2 days later getting a ahipment notification and I haven't? Just curious

I have received my Manual today having ordered on the day of release, I don't want to rub salt in the wounds of those of you that are still waiting ,I have to say you won't be disappointed when you do receive it. It was well packed so no damage occured during transit which given it's weight is crucial.
I must congratulate the team at Matrix on producing such a good looking manual in size as well as quality.
I just have to read it now..........then carry on playing for a long long time.
