Turn 2

I LOVE attacking regiments and brigades. When fatigued they love to retreat. When rested I will hit them with deliberate attacks. I will find the magic number of Soviet Divisions for doing just that. But nice to have at least one small PYRRHIC victory!

Turn 2

Now that I have all my Divisions in a safe place. I feel comfortable in setting 99% of the Infantry divisions to 100% ToE to try and fill out.

Mountain Divisions set to 100%
Airborne Brigades set to 100%
Artillery 50% ---- All artillery is at Stavka now. I handed out artillery to 3 Army commands this turn & set their ToE to 100%. All other artillery will get handed out when & where needed and set to 100% when sent out. Until then the artillery will sit in Stavka at 50%.

Armor & Mech are variable set to as low as 50% for the majority. Depending on what the TOE is currently at for these units I will fill them out slowly and hold them in 3rd & 4th line defense upping their ToE 5-10% at a time depending on what they need to fill out in the division compared to the over 90% TOE armor & Mech divisions. On the rare cases I have Armor or Mech over 90% I set their TOE to 100%. I do this to fill out the Infantry as fast a possible. I will have to see how this works in WITE2 but worked great in WITE1 for me. I "cross" my fingers and pray it does again.

Based on the following rule;

4.10.14. Improving the chances of gaining
replacements and supply
For the unit to get replacements, it must pass both
administrative and support checks and it helps if it is in
refit mode or is located in the National Reserve (13.2).
Units have up to five chances each turn to receive supply
and replacements. Thus if they pass every leadership test,
and are close enough to a depot with sufficient capacity,
they can gain up to 100% of their need.
If the unit is in refit mode it is more likely to receive
up to 40% of the need each time it passes one of these
tests (if the supply is available). Units in refit on any depot
will attempt to get to 100% TOE irrespective of the supply
priority, drawing from other depots as well.
Adding a HQ counter to a depot will substantially assist
any combat units stacked in the hex and looking to take on
reinforcements. Similarly you can leave your rail repair HQs
on a depot to raise its priority for supply deliveries (25.7.9).
Units in refit located in the same hex as a national
supply source depot (type 4) will have access to virtually
unlimited freight.
Units set to refit and in the relevant national reserve
(13.2) will be the priority for new or replacement
equipment. As far as possible, their needs will be met
before any on map refit takes place.

I have set up depots around Moscow and assigned the HQ's to the Moscow front and put two units under the HQ if I could. Will see how this works out in the coming turns for refilling these units TOE. Based on the Manual this should work. I am just scared of the darn leader check rolls, lololololololololol.

The two static units on the Moscow NSS wish would be removed from the hex :( I am thinking of relocating the Moscow Army HQ so I can put two units on the hex for refit. But I did not relocate the Moscow HQ this turn and did put one Inf division there on refit. See how this unit does by next turn :)

Turn 2

Western Front scattered from here to hell & back. My Front HQ & my Air HQ still in the pocket. Probably some of the commanders will be killed off when they are displaced then they will have to trek back to Moscow area. All told, lost probably over 95% of darn Western Front! DANG Dodo89 be kind to the Soviets.
