Air war question

Post by bairdlander2 »

Creating my own directives as Axis.I recall in WitW I could choose which fighter squadrons to use as escorts.Cannot seem to do that in WitE2,escorts are all or none it seems,Luftflotte 1 always assigns all 138 fighters or none. Please advise.

this really is an instance where the advice has to be - its in the manual.

I'm saying that because 17.4 covers this and any answer here (that is detailed) simply has to repeat that section.

briefly you have 2 options:

a) not recommended but you can manually assign planes using the airgroup not the AOG - be aware that you can't mix the 2 systems
b) the same AOG can be assigned more than once, by default the routine will assume an even spread across the AD but you can manually tell it which one(s) you want the bulk of commitment
