I have a few of these planes in the pool but i dont see any way to use them as they arent in any units and i dont know what aircraft are allowed to convert to them. i checked all the patrol planes squadrons but none of them were allowed to be converted.

I'm pretty sure they can go into the naval air formations.

check if you have enough to fill out an air group and when they come into production. You can't assign planes in the first month after they produce

I think there's only one PA unit that will use them in the 1943 campaign, No. 210 RAF Pa Sqn. Maximum 9 planes. If you convert this group to Wellington or Ventura GR's, the group size increases to 12 aircraft, and it's a lot more useful.
