Please note, shipping has started - it has far from completed. It will take days to work through the first 1,000 copies, then once those are all shipped there will be a delay until the sea shipment arrives before the remaining orders ship out. We are shipping them in the order they were received.

I get that but if I ordered on the 2nd why are people who ordered 2 days later getting a ahipment notification and I haven't? Just curious

ORIGINAL: SamSlitherine

The orders are being processed from the date they were placed, so an order on the 4th will not be processed before one placed on the 2nd. Not sure if they might be confusing the time of purchase maybe?

This good enough for ya? I get THAT person might be confusing their time of purchase, but I doubt it. I'm not frustrated, just impatient [:D]

I ordered on 3/5 but no notice yet.

What is interesting is I got the pre-release notice on 3/5. How did you know about the pre-release on 3/2? I must be on someone's 'naughty' list lol.

People started to mention the pre-order date in some posts, I think it was originally mentioned on a Slitherine stream. So I knew to be ready for March 2nd, but after that it was just refreshing the page until I saw it come up, lol.

Curious to see the cut off date for the first 1000.
Order confirmed on the 8th March- so think I missed the boat (plane)
Time to wait for the May ship I guess

Will hold off playing until then

I'm waiting with bated breath too, as I ordered on the 4th. I'm encouraged the 3rd people are getting their books. I'm sure I heard on some Slitherine Stream at around the release, when talking about the manuals, they said the first 1000 had "more or less gone", so I wouldn't lose hope even if you ordered on the 8th. I wouldn't be surprised if the numbers of pre-orders is relatively low. The game has a small, but dedicated fanbase, it's very niche and complex, and with a manual cost me something like 60 or 70 quid!

Check your spam folder. Mine was there despite adding Slitherine fulfillment's email to my contacts, as well as marking the prior message important. No logic to those spam filters at all, it seems.
Thanks for the heads up. All my emails from Slitherine go to spam even when in contacts. I wish there was some way to fix this.

My Hard Copy of WITE2 arrived today slightly damaged but nothing too bad, however it nearly crippled me when I tried to lift it.[:D]
really impressive work though
I suppose I should break the habit of a lifetime though and actually read it

Just FYI, we've only gotten through a third of the 1,000 pre-orders this week, so please remain patient. It takes time with the COVID restrictions and the rather large warehouse backlog, but we're shipping more out every day.

Don't fret too much. My shipping notice came on the 14th, and I received it in the US today. Six days is not too shabby! I chose the courier option rather than Royal Mail.

Ordered the game and manual on 5th March ... can I hope to be in the 1000 list or will I have to wait for the next print batch?

I told myself to wait for the printed manual to start playing the game .... my suffering is huge :)))))

Hi everyone, I have a more detailed update for you all. The short version is that because of the COVID restrictions on how many people we can have in our small warehouse at a time, it's taking longer than usual to get everything shipped out. Under normal circumstances, everyone would have pitched in but that's not possible right now. We've made some changes to double the number we can send out each day, but we are still only half-way through with the first 1,000 orders and it will probably take until late next week for us to finish shipping out all of them. I apologize for the time this is taking, we're going as fast as we can.

The sea shipment with the remaining manuals is due to arrive on May 17th. Given time to clear the port and get to our warehouse, given past experience that means we'll likely start shipping those out on May 24th and by that point hopefully it will only take a week or so to get through them.

Regards,

- Erik
