Yes but port blockading is slightly different. It's in one of the videos.

I watched the video. It's mostly about port inderdiction. Port supply is the part I don't care for! Figuring out how many units you can keep supplied seems overly complex. But that's just me. I haven't heard of anyone else complaining about how it's done!

Unfortunately this may keep me from buying this title. I would imagine port supply will be important with all of the amphibious invasions?

I don't find it that complicated. The port shows it's remaining capacity.

It's the supply stockpile that I don't like! There is a formula that has to be worked out to determine how many strenght points can be supplied! Then an oil dependent unit requires 20% more! And so on! If you like it, it's OK with me... I like Fords and my brother likes GMC!

Port size 1 = 1 div
2 = 2 divs or small corps
3 = corps/army
5 = corps/army + air
etc etc

Easy. Also it means how much they get for effectiveness recovery.

Is that a total number of units or total per country? So a 3 level port can have just 1 corps total or can it have 1 corps from the US AND one from the UK for a total of 2 corps. I assume it is just 1 corps total, but wanted to make sure [:)]

Also, the Italians have 3 ports in NA. Is each port considered separately or are they combined? Tripoli is a 6, Benghazi a 4 (which I think is too high btw) as is Tobruk. So would this mean I could have at most 3 corps plus 1 AC in NA?

- Tripoli - 1 corps + air
- Benghazi 1 - corps
- Tobruk - 1 corps

Since Tripoli is so far away, does all the supply come through Tobruk somehow? Even though the port there is smaller?

So if the Germans/Italians are fighting East of Tobruk near Egypt, how will they get supplies from Tripoli?

Lets say I just had 1 corps fighting in Egypt and nothing else in NA as the Axis, would they get more supplies even if they were further away from a supply source?

Each strength of unit uses one stockpile. Oil using units use 20% more.

Read page 54 of the current WarPlan manual.

Or page 60 of the WarPlan Pacific manual.

So how does a Port replenish it's supply?
