T29 Soviet Attacks:

80 Soviet attacks resulting in 4 Routs, 46 Retreats and 30 Holds. Once again no attacks north of Lake Ilman. But problems in the Kalinin, Kursk, and Rumanian line north of the Sea of Azov. But it is now January and things should improve with less CV penalties. Or so I hope!

T29 Supply Net North:

Decent supply travels, but mostly because my problem areas are collapsing . . .

T29 Supply Net South:

The rail net is now to Dnepropetrovsk but not yet delivering enough supplies. I am getting sick of blizzards all of the time.

T29 Air Phase:

The LW can't even see the airfields so how can they fly? Oh yeah, they are still in Reserve too!

T29 Freight:

More freight reaches the units this turn and only 4.8K lost. An improvement but there is still 15K to catch up on. As I have mentioned before, this amount will carry over to next turn plus the freight used during this turn will be added to the needs for next turn. I will point out that the 4th Panzer Army is now resupplied. Perhaps that is why the Soviets have stopped their attacks near Leningrad.

T29 AGN:

16th and 9th Armies pull back and refit what they can. At least they are actually falling back on their supply sources now. The isolated division is slowly making it back to friendly lines.

T29 AGC:

Rotate out units for refit. Try and hold what I can and not back up too much here as this is a good threat to Moscow.

T29 AGS:

The Rumanian flank is starting to fall apart. I am just hoping the Soviets are not able to advance too well in this area. I am willing for the Crimea to be cut off if it happens but I am trying to avoid that.

T29 Soviet Garrison:

It's been a while since I showed the status of the Soviet Garrison. It is still at 106% but the interdiction hexes are getting pretty thick. I got a SEC XX last turn that should end there but it will only allow transferring to the MAP this turn. So this turn to the MAP, one turn on the map, and then two turns to the RESERVE so four turns before it will get there.

T30 Soviet Attacks:

The Soviets did 68 Attacks last turn for 2 Routs, 45 Retreats, and 21 Holds. While the numbers are down, 2 out of 3 attacks gained ground. Kursk fell this turn with the two routs coming in that battles as two PG divisions had no retreat open.

T30 Supply Net North:

The supply net is good - better than I expected at this point. You can see that the Soviets did not attack north of Lake Ilmen but 9th Army is in retreat along its entire line. The attacks against 2 PA were mostly stopped but a few hexes were gained.

T30 Supply Net South:

Here the supply net is not as good but greatly improved over the past few turns. The Rumanians are still in trouble north of the Sea of Azov. The Soviets did heavy attacks against the 2nd and 6th Armies along with a good drive against the 11th Army to the south. Kursk has fallen but the Kharkov area seems to be holding well. The Soviets are driving hard towards the Dnepr River bend.

T30 Air Phase:

LW is still on vacation.

T30 Freight:

During T28 the shortage between Sup Need and Sup Rec was -14K, this turn it is less than -9K so we are slowly catching up as the troops receive more supplies than they used over the past two turns. This is very encouraging. Perhaps the worst is now over and the Axis armies can start to recover.

T30 AGN:

von Leeb was replaced last turn as AGN commander for failure to capture Leningrad. 16th and 9th Armies try to patch together a defensive line to slow down the Soviet advance. It is getting harder to hold on to Kalinin but that is a key position against Leningrad because it is the double rail supplying the area. With that cut the Leningrad Front will remain on low supplies. This may be what has stalled the Soviet drive in the Leningrad area.

T30 AGC:

The 2nd and 3rd PAs actually have good defenses in this area despite being limited to level 1 forts (because they are both Assault HQs). Guderian was replaced this turn because of his lack of offensive drive to capture Moscow during the freeze.

T30 AGS:

Kursk fell with two PG divisions routed and depleted. This will take a while for those divisions to be ready for combat again. 11th Army in front of the Dnepr River bend is the new hotspot and worry. Some reinforcements are in the area as a few new German infantry divisions and the Rumanian Mountain Corps are on their way to help out. The Rumanian high command seems to be less enthusiastic about the war now but they are still willing to fight.

T30 Soviet Garrison:

A quick glance at the contents of the Soviet Garrison. It is now at 108% and I am sending a few more odds and ends its way over the next few turns.

T30 Rail Net North:

The rail net is pretty complete in the Baltic and Leningrad areas. The rails heading to Moscow are fairly complete now too. There is much to repair in the AGC rear however.
