T30 Rail Net South:

The rail links between the central double line and Rumania are getting done fairly quickly. You can see the progress from Nikolaev to the Crimea being done by a single RAD Labor unit. A slow process but the best that can be done without committing an FBD unit to it. The Dnepr River bend cities are almost tied into everything now too which has helped the 11th Army supply line.

T30 OOB:

The Soviets are now at 4.6M men. The bad weather really slowed down their losses and allowed them to recover strength. I will have some hard work in my 42 offensive to try and whittle them back down again.

T30 Ground Losses:

The Soviets have lost 4M men so far while the Axis have lost 1M. It is definitely a war of attrition and the Soviets appear to be winning it!

T30 Air Losses:

Here the losses are better than the ground. The Soviets have lost 14K while the Axis have lost only 4K. The air to air combat losses are better than 4:1 in the Axis favor. But this too is a war of attrition.

T30 Production:

The manpower pools are looking good for all of the Axis and you can see that the Axis Generic (HIWI) pool is starting to be used. The truck situation is not great but not that bad either. The 117K in repair should start to lower in the next few months which are badly needed for the summer 42 offensive.

T30 VPs:

I am down to 576 VPs which is enough to pass the 1-Oct-42 Sudden Loss check. This is down 18 VPs from my High Water Mark and will have to be recovered this year to keep the initiative. I need 174 VPs this coming year for victory. This is possible and the hope is there.

Nice. Switching Leaders for Roleplay or is there a strategy behind it?

They were fired in the Events Log, I just came up with some rationale for the firing.

T31 Soviet Attacks:

96 Soviet attacks which resulted in 2 Routs, 29 Retreats, and 65 Holds. So this turn sees two out of three attacks result in a hold. Much better than last turn.

T31 Supply Net North:

A fairly good supply net is now in place. The Soviets are going all out in attacking Kalinin to free up the double rail to Leningrad. It is beginning to have a long thin line of hexes keeping Kalinin from isolation. I am not sure how much longer it will be able to hold out.

T31 Supply Net South:

Here I need some more supporting rail lines to be done. The Soviets have continued their offensive drive around Kursk and towards the Dnepr River bend. The Dnepr River bend is an area which should have had some good forts by now if I had planned properly but elsewhere in the south there is just no good terrain for defense.

T31 Air Phase:

Still no LW.

T31 Freight:

The deficit is now down to only 7K this turn. Things are slowly improving. Now if I can just stop the Soviet steamrollers.

T31 AGN:

Try and paste something together to continue holding Kalinin. It is worth risking a division or two to hold it as long as possible. Not only is it cutting the double rail line from Moscow to the Leningrad area but it is also absorbing a lot of Soviet attention. Over 20% of the Soviet attacks last turn was in this area.

T31 AGC:

This is definitely a 'bend don't break' defense for AGC. The only real problems for the AG is the southern flank of 2nd Army where it ties in with the northern flank of AGS.

T31 AGS:

I am forced to keep falling back from Kursk but the defense of Kharkov seems to be holding on well. The Dnepr River bend is under threat but more reinforcements are streaming that way and hopefully they will be able to hold.

T31 Soviet Garrison:

With the addition of a Stug BN and a Security Division the garrison is now up to 112%.

T32 Soviet Attacks:

83 Soviet attacks resulting in 1 Surrender (an isolated Rumanian Cavalry Brigade), 23 Retreats, and 59 Holds. The Soviets seem to be running out of steam as 75% are now holds.

T32 Supply Net North:

The supply net is pretty good. The Soviets continue to not attack north of Lake Ilmen. Unfortunately 9th Army is still being beat up on but Kalinin continues to hold up. The main problem area for AGC is the 2nd Army which just got pushed back pretty bad.
