No files found

Just downloaded the game, wanted to have a quick look by starting a scenario ... but there are none. All it states in the box is "No files found"
What did I do wrong?

Uninstall and reinstall the game something isn't right.

You should have a folder in the install folder and one under....

C:\Users\"your user name"\Documents\My Games\WarPlan Pacific\

The WPP folder should have campaigns, launcher, savedgames, usersavedata

Sometimes it's a permission issue. You can always right click and run as administrator. Some security programs might block it.

Thank you. I have the folder you indicated, but they are all empty!
I will try with reinstalling. I always run as Admin.

No, not working! Uninstalled and re-installed. No files found and the directories are clearly empty.

I am having the exact same issue.

I have tried running the installer as admin and installing in the default location and no joy.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues.

Please let us know where you are installing the game from and to.
eg. Installer downloaded to user "Downloads" folder and ran from there, installing to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\WarPlan".

I have the installer downloaded to my user "Downloads" folder, and run from there, I install to the default suggested "C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\WarPlan".

You mentioned that you also run the application as an admin, is the admin your own account or do you need to enter the password of another user who is admin?

Just so everyone knows.... Dietrich53 was on a MAC using Parallels.

For some reason it wasn't putting the files in my games.

If this is the issue with everyone here I can create a link to download just the scenarios which are in the MyGames folder. But you have to place them in there yourself.

But if you ware on a Windowes PC
You all might have some security program blocking it from installing.
You can disable that then run the installer as admin.

I enter the password of another user account that has admin privileges.

I found a fix for the "RE: No files found"
1) I uninstalled the game instance from my user account (non-admin)- I notice that it uninstalled files from my MS-OneDrive account - not my local C: drive

2) I logged into my machine's local admin account and installed it from my local admin download folder - the missing scenario files are now available (issue resolved)

Aside - I need to turn off my "controlled folder access" (under ransomware protection) during the installation process (I am running the latest updated version of Windows 10)

I'm also running Windows 10 Pro on Parallels Desktop 16 Pro for Mac, and am having the same problem: no files found!

EDIT! I installed both games on Windows 7 Ultimate, running on Parallels Desktop 16 Pro for Mac. Files are in now in place! [:)]
