Bombing ports

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Bombing ports

Post by Chris21wen »

Took me a while to work out out why I could not bomb an airfield. I needed to use ground attack not strategic, which is something I should probably have known already.

It did bring a question though. You can target ports and railyards using either mission so what's the difference?

none directly, but if you use GA-port you *can* add FB to the mission. Now this is usually not a very good idea so try not to. But if you just use LB for the mission (which you should) then it makes no difference if you set up within the strat or GA ADs
