Port Question

Post by slo »

So if your port needs to be a 5 or more to repair ships, what is the point of a port 1-4, just to bring in supply?

With that in mind, is there away to see how much supply my units would need?

In other words, can a level 2 port supply a 30 strength unit?

Thanks so much..

The smaller ports are very valuable, offering bases for air units, and a home for small fleets, or for forward basing even a large fleet dispersed to several small ports.

I've used the small ports on the NW coast of Australia a lot as sub bases.

Remember that below level 5, the port level is the same as the number of ships that can be supplied there.

Combat supply is on a 1 for 1 basis, eg a level 2 port can supply 40 strength points. Any strength points above that would get only basic supply, and would tend to lose efficiency over time.

Sorry, why would it be important for air units?
