Multiplayer timeout

Hi everyone,
Don't know if anyone knows the answer....just had a notification saying that my current multiplayer game has just finished. My opponant has had the same. It's been in my opponants box for about 3 weeks (he's been unable to answer due to circumstances out of his control) But I thought it should have stayed on for longer than that. I wasn't aware that there was any time limit on pbem. Any comments from anyone?

Very welcome. If you can put in a Steam review for me. Helps my rankings.

As for that I would contact Matrix support with this question. I know they have a house cleaning process but I don't know the time limit on it.

How many humans can utilize multiplayer pbem?

Just 2 currently. I think PBEM3 allows for more players but I haven't investigated that.

WarPlan 2 I will try and add players so everyone can play a country/side. Difficult though because it is a multihex attack game.
