Okay. I loaded up this mod.

First. Good Job. I would love to try, but scares the crap out of me so understand I appreciate what you have done.

The heavy rain versus light rain is detectable, but difficult. I would suggest having light rain be a few drops going from top right to bottom left. You could then make heavy rain more drops going from top left to bottom right.

One thing, change the color of the convoy routes. The white dot is okay, I don't mind that, but when you get rain going it is really hard to see.

incob: Problem with the weather image is I have to draw it trial and error; I have no idea where the hex is while doing it. It took me several months before I finally arrived at something that felt good enough, and part of it was the previous work by Panzermike or some other talent.

Magpius: I tried to do Australian and New Zealand flags earlier (could have been Strategic Command), but the flags on the units were so small they just melted into a blur. Since these countries were under overall British command anyway, I opted for national colour with the easier to recognise Union Jack. I will stick to this. I could, of course, make a special variant for you personally, should such time to do it pop up.

There is a reason I am not doing this. [:)]
I was just pointing it out.
I did go in and change the convoy dot color to red and it shows up much better. I might try looking at the weather....but not even sure how to do it.

I tried some work with the convoys some days ago. I have problem knowing which is which and thought I could add the name of the convoy lane in the hex. That worked fine, but the image size increased slightly, making the roads come apart much more. I have no idea why it does that. Meddling with it, I sort of learned where the convoys were routed, so I gave up the effort.

Looks like you mixed up the Dutch and Yugoslav national flags (or the aircraft markings).

Red, White & Blue
Vs
Blue, White & Red

Side note, the Dutch changed their aircraft markings from orange neutrality triangles to a red, white and blue flag in 1942.

Have only just started playing the China campaign - so have not seen the actual impact of these observations, only what I have seen on the counter file.

You're right, so I did. Funny. I was probably looking for the flag in my artwork file by sight not text. Easy to fix, though. Just rotate 180 degrees. I was planning to lower the intensity on the fighter's red symbol, and can fix the Dutch at the same time. I will stick with the triangle, however, since the file is still interchangeable with Europe.

Made some minor changes after some days playing. Felt the need to better differentiate between TBF:s and other task forces, so I placed a black background on the former, with a slightly smaller size not to interfere with the action point graphic.

Although I liked the blue colour of the Indian troops, it wasn't enough uniform-like, so I changed it to the same colour as my trousers.

Files are uploaded.

Say nothing of it, it's just fun for me. As today when I upgraded my "not entirely happy about"-subs and torpedo boats, that now look like this:

(shouldn't it be Yokohama, not Yakohama, even in English?)

Every modder's work is greatly appreciated, and this one really stands out. I especially like the "radio" icon on the HQ units. Can't ask for much more - other than someone doing the same for War in the East 2, but I know that day will come!

Thanks, Rosseau.

Made some last update this morning. Sometime during my original efforts to distinguished different aircraft categories, I added the thick stripe across the counter. Sensing it unbalanced the counter, I added the thinner straight line going across it. To further enhance the tactic-naval-strategic figures, and air combat value, I added the green, blue and orange boxes, slightly overlapping the straight category stripe. Seeing now that the pixelating just merge the stripe with the boxes (and with the unbalancing feeling gone as the boxes is now there), I took the former away completely.
