Triple alliance, Center power Italy National moral shenanigans

Post by KorutZelva »

I'm playing the center power it's 1917 and I'm noticing my Italy is seeing its national moral steadily increase over time its sitting over 125%. They don't hold any enemy cities granting national moral. Is it getting some bonus to national moral by default? (I'm thinking maybe its getting the AI bonus to national moral?)

It does receive small boosts at intermediate and expert level, so that could be a factor.

Note that holding enemy resources belonging to an enemy Major will provide NM boosts, so towns, ports, mines and oil all count too.

You could always try turning off the two National Morale scripts and see if it stops rising. These are called:

#NAME= ENTENTE AI - Italy National Morale Bonus - Intermediate

#NAME= ENTENTE AI - Italy National Morale Bonus - Expert

You can do this in game by going to Options -> Advanced -> Scripts -> National Morale and untick these two.

No no no, I mean, Italy is on my team! I'm playing Central power. I know the AI gets moral boost but I think Italy gets it in the Triple alliance scenario when you play central power... maybe the Call to arm boost was left in?

I see what you mean, and I think you're right, thanks I've made a note to get it changed. [:)]
