1941-45 Campaign - Alt VC260 Slitherine Game

I received the following message from Slitherine at 10:00 p.m. Saturday 5/8/2021:

Your multiplayer game of Gary Grigsby's War in the East called 1941-45 Campaign - Alt VC260 is now complete. Thanks for playing and we hope you enjoyed it.

My game then appeared as "Resigned" on the Multiplayer screen.


Then I received the following message at 8:01 a.m. Monday 5/10/2021:

It is now your turn in Gary Grigsby's War in the East, to play challenge '1941-45 Campaign - Alt VC260'.

However the game still appears as "Resigned"

I don't know whether the game was Resigned by mistake and my opponent is trying to restore it, or what else is going on. Please explain.

Disregard - the notice I received today was a delayed turn notification from last week. For a few days Slitherine wasn't sending these notifications so this was a catch up.

My opponent has indeed resigned. It was a good game while it lasted and I wish him well in his future campaigns!
