Where else but in Britain could there be a 'Winspit Quarry near Worth Matravers'?

Yeah, after the second season of The Mandalorian and that dreadful latest Star Wars trilogy, along with the flop Han Solo movie - I think I could care less.
The ending of the second season was great, though (the first moment where the new management understood what SW fans really want). And I liked Rogue One.

The new trilogy is dreadful, and I wonder who thought that we needed a Han Solo movie.

Worth Matravers sounds like a Star Wars character itself. Probably one of those good guy generals up in a spaceship. To be honest though the last time I saw a Star Wars movie I think Leonid Brezhnev was leader of the USSR.

Guess I'm an outlier, but I REALLY enjoyed the second season of mando, and also found Solo to be really entertaining. The casting for young Lando could not have been more perfect, in my eyes.

Your mileage may vary I suppose.

I thought that it was a decent movie.

But I really disliked that they changed the 'internal rules' for the Star Wars universe.

I also disliked that the ending kind of changed the reason for the original movie.

The Sith Lord paused at the edge of the quarry. He gestured to the Imperial work crews awaiting his command.

"Dig deep. We will build the temple here."

He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and smiled.

"Dorset is strong with the dark side."

Wasn't the ending supposed to "fix" the biggest problem of the OM (the Death Star's vulnerability)? IMHO "Rogue One" found a nifty solution for that. I watched it on Blue-ray and then rewatched the OM, and the overall plot clicked surprisingly well.
