Need to consult with the German player before continuing with the ground strike.

No hex to retreat so it will die for sure.

Assault please, with heroic last stand!

S/O 42 Allied #6

Western Allies are still planning. After taking Portugal they are seeking next target.

Allies have same invasion force in use
US: MAR, MAR ENG div and INF div (8 points).
CW: HQ-I/MIL and 2x INF div (about 4 points).
Enough ships for shore bombardment and hopefully enough planes to shoot down anything Axis send against them.

There are few plans on table, only one can be chosen. Debate is hard, analysis is deep, odds are counted carefully. Same time more Axis troops are railed to area, we should have been faster but Denmark and Murmansk demanded our attention...

Please don't guess here where we are going to, your idea might me better than our and it wouldn't be fair.

Good night. We will attack at dawn (but not tomorrow) [;)]

S/O 42 Allied 6 continues.

Rail move
USSR MOT from Bryansk to Mukden.
CW FTR2 from South Africa to Belgian Congo.

Land move
CW HQ in Algiers two hexes east.
USSR minor land moves in west, units closer to Japanese border in east.

As everyone knows from high school history lessons, operation Torch late 1942 was just a feint. Allies invade to Southern France!

Invasion
US MAR, INF div and MAR ENG div to NW of Marseilles (63,30). After full shore bombardment attack is +21 (15:1).
US INF and 2x CW INF div one hex west (63,29). After full shore bombardment and ground support (CW ground support this attack by CVP for 1 point) attack is +19.

I chose notionals to both attacks or they would be automatic.

Axis can send ground support with one Italian NAV and only to US hex, it can be escorted by 4 factor fighter. CW can intercept by 4 factor CVP. If GS is successful, attack will be +16.
