This is a glorious game. Thank you

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Hello. This game is glorious. I love the war. Thank you. There are almost no Cold War gone hot games so this is a vital game. There is also Cold Waters about the naval side of it, and I am just reading that manual now before starting it.

Look at this picture from my last Flashpoint battle. I put in a frontal attack against the Soviets who were defending the town. I left arty & air on staff control and you can see how well they did by all the burning Soviet equipment in their rear area. Sun Tzu would be appalled at my attack cause of the massive losses on both sides, but we won the battle with a full wipe of the Soviets.

That is a lot of pixel carnage. We are glad you are enjoying the game. [8D]

Thanks Darwin.
Do you think that is excessive carnage? There is a bit more north and south of the photo too.
I guess I should have limited my losses a lot better.

Force preservation is important and hard to do on the modern (Cold War) battlefield.
