A little help please - DISREGARD

Post by PaxMondo »

OK, so this is from a heavily modded scen of mine. I've got an issue where a bunch of aircraft are arriving in game for the allies, but I can't see WTF they are coming from. Looking for some ideas as to where to look/chase. Many of you know I am not a novice in this, but this one has me stumped at the moment. So forth with the ideas please.

2 AC pools involved are the P-39 and Hurricanes.

Here is the pool on the first day where everything looks fine:

As you can see, things look normal on the 13th and then boom, a ton of AC arrive in pools for both. This continues for a couple of days ... so ideas of where they are coming from would be helpful. I've chased down all the ones that I can think of (long list), hoping that someone will come up with one that I missed.

Thanks!

Dang .. nevermind.

Memory leak. Gotta go back to this date and start from here. I must have forgotten my rule to start each turn fresh ...

Sometimes convoys deliver extra airframes to the pools.

I think this is one of those situations for which the "word" irregardless was coined. You know, that would make a great forum name, think I'll use it somewhere.

Have always preferred 'disirregardless'.

I will regard the request to disregard this.

Unfortunately, memory leaks happen as we get older. I think that the memories leak into the abdominal area - also known as a big gut. Or at least, we have to try and fight that tendency.

Since disirregardless is taken, I will go with 'en-garde-less'.

I have to admit to more leakage now than when I was younger ... sad but true. Haven't had to stoop to buying the big box of "Depends" yet, so I guess I'm still good. [:D]

Yes, but no convoys arrived during this timeframe, in fact not within 7 days either way.

I did confirm it to be a memory leak. [:(]

It is a known issue in stock scenarios, particularly as the war progresses and the number of units increases. In mods, as most of us ADD units/items to the game it is an even larger issue. As I stated, I know I have to reload the game after each turn. Obviously, I forgot and of course Mr. Murphy was Johnny - on - the - Spot to remind me. Lucky me.
