T02 Supply Net South:

I will note right now that the supply depot in Bucharest is at priority 0. I change that to priority 1. Bucharest is NOT a National Supply Source and will not draw any supplies set to 0.

T02 Air Phase:

This is easy as I am using the AI Air Assist. The AI will delete all existing air directives and create new ones based on my settings for the AOG stance and Following HQ along with taking into account my Air Doctrines.

So we can see that it has created Ground Support directives in each Luftflotte centered on specific armies. This is good as it keeps the distance flown in check. There is nothing so bad as to have an AOG based out of Talinin assigned to a Ground Support directive for AGN and having them fly down to Velikie Luki or beyond in support. The operational losses are prohibitive.

It has also created Recon directives and a Superiority directive. The Recon directives all flew sorties but the Superiority directive did not. Something for the Tech Support people to address when they have time.

After some discussions in the AAR I changed the Recon Air Doctrine to 100% Mission A/C.

T02 AGN Start:

The first thing I do during my Ground Phase is to address pockets. On turn 2 my first rule of thumb is mopping up pockets and enemy controlled hexes (you never know when an enemy unit is hiding in one of them) starting with the units the furthest from the front. You can see in this screenshot that all of the pockets formed in AGN on T01 have held. So now it is mop up time.

T02 AGN XXIII Corps:

This one did not turn out quite as well as one Soviet Rifle division refused to surrender and held. But notice that I have spread out the Corps so that it forms my new southern edge if I have to hold the pocket for next turn.

T02 AGN 101st RHG

This corps starts to work on the Kurland Peninsula while also cleaning up a pair of hexes on the way. To reduce pockets fastest take all of the dots within the pocket. This ensures there are no enemy depots and the pocket will reduce faster if there are no enemy depots, airfields, or units in the pocket.

T02 AGN XXVI Corps:

Two divisions finish the sweep of the Kurland Peninsula freeing the other division to cross the Daugava near Riga. Note I did not advance it into the newly captured hexes so that it will regain some of its CPP at the end of my Ground Phase.

T02 AGN II Corps:

It takes two divisions to push back or capture the Soviet units threatening the rail line from Kaunus to Vilnius. The third division moves to pin down the rifle division in Svendoneliai which is threatening the double rail from Vilnius to Daugavpils.

T02 AGN I Corps:

This corps is now freed by the others to advance and clean up some loose enemy controlled hexes. Two of the three divisions are now across the Dauga River and all stopped in friendly controlled hexes so they could recover CPP.

T02 AGC Start:

One pocket was broken to the north. It was actually one I had marked as being dangerous so I feel a bit better about it. But it is a minor pocket (though large in size it has a rifle division and an NKVD Sec Regt) and it will be reformed into a pocket this turn.

T02 AGC XXXXII Corps:

The units already broken down into regiments are used to discover the enemy locations and force some of them to surrender. The divisions are then used to help eliminate what they can and form the northwestern edge of the pocket for next turn.

T02 AGC IX Corps:

The corps extends the new southern edge of the pocket. It does indicate that a Soviet stack is located at the red circle that could threaten the double line rail so it will have to be taken care of.
