Mine-sweeping?

Post by mdsmall »

Hi Bill - one of the fun innovations in this game are the naval mines. Have you considered introducing a mine-sweeping function, in addition to the existing mine-laying function? This might be done by dedicated mine-sweepers or by destroyers that have to spend a turn adjacent to an enemy mine to sweep it. Adding a random factor, so that success is not guaranteed and there is a small chance the sweeping unit could take a hit would add to the interest.

Cheers,

Michael

Thanks for mentioning this again, it is on my list for a possibility for down the road. It is just a matter of priorities at the moment with always so much to do.
