[Resolved] No sounds (audio or music)

Dear all,

I´m having the problem of getting no audio (music or sounds) in command. I´m on version 1.03.114723.
I have changed my setup (new CPU- Ryzen 5900 x, new mainboard (MSI MEG X570 Unify), more ram(32G @3600 mHz). So it could be somehow connected to that, but I don´t have issues on other games and for example I can hear clicking sounds of the command launcher.
I´ve attached a dxdiag.

I appreciate any problem solving ideas!

Stupid question...is the sound option turned on in the game? Also, there have been issues with other games with MSI's sound drivers and apps.

Is Windows Media Player installed on your system ?

Dimitris, many thanks. That was it. it looks like when I installed win 10 pro, wmp was not part of the package by default. Although it was shown under "optional features" as installed.
I followed this procedure here to install it:

If you are running Windows 10 N or K or KN editions, Windows Media Player is not included. You will need to download then install the Windows Feature Pack.

If you don't find it, press Windows key + R

Type: optionalfeatures.exe

Hit Enter

Expand Media Features

Make sure Media Player is checked.

Now it´s fine!

I never knew about that command. I'll have to check it out.
