Beta vs. Stable release?

Post by BlindGuyNW »

Hi ALl,

As a new player who's primarily interested in solitaire play, I'm wondering about playing version 3.0 as compared to 4.0. I wasn't able to find an obvious description of the changes anywhere, but I may have missed something on the forum.

Is 3.0 still fairly robust in general? I've done beta testing before, and I know that it's a lot of bug hunting sometimes. I'm wondering what I miss if I decide to play it, or conversely what i gain if I go to the beta.

Any input on this question from the point of view of solo play would be appreciated.
Thanks all.

Go with 4.0. The main reason for the version number change was an upgrade to the developer's IDE. The game has been improved since 3.0 and besides, solitaire was already pretty much bug free.
