Why can't I invade

Why can't I invade? Unit has supply and 1 Operation point. It is right on an invasion hex. When I click to invade it says no units available.

Then im out of ideas. Theres no Landing craft icon on your screen, so that was my first guess. Theres no landing craft icon when you transport garrison unit. That was my second guess

I saw that unit in our game and wondered why it was there...figured it was a landing craft.

Press Z and see what is shows.

Looks like he had an operation point...the dot on the unit.
I am sure he still has LS
My guess would be rain? But I can't tell from the pic if it is raining on the beach.

A lot of beach hexes are weirdly connected. If the hex showed valid invasion with "Z" before the move, the it is almost always because the unit was in garrison before it embarked. It's unfortunate that there is no way to keep track of this without, say, renaming or taking notes. Multiple times I've tried to invade with garrison troops on their way to a different garrison. Normal rain is fine for invasion.

I have landing craft.
I have operation points.
I did not think a single rain drop would prevent invasion though knew that it odds were worse.

Where are the available landing craft to conduct the non-port landing? Page 86 of manual shows a picture.

They usually show up as a small popout to the right of the anchor sign for naval disembarking. Because it’s not here, I thought the unit embarked while garrisoned.

The Equatorial weather zone doesn't have any cold month, right? I see none in the WarPlan Pacific Weather Zone Data pdf document.

Incbob, I was in the same situation the other day, I had to wait newt turn to invade with a similar non Marines unit. I thought I was simply lacking of an operational point.
