Seaplanes and long-range aircraft

Post by mdsmall »

Hi - while playing the Entente in the 1917 campaign, I noticed an odd fact. Both the UK and France start the campaign with level 2 in Long Range Aircraft. This option also applies to seaplane carriers, so I upgraded several of them. However, there has been no change in the actual range of the seaplanes and when I click on Properties, even though it shows that I have Level 2 tech, there is no increase shown for the strike range. What might be the issue here?

If you try launching a mission, can its planes fly out further than before it was upgraded?

I just wonder if it might not be showing in the Properties, as I've checked the background and Seaplanes are set to have an increase of 1 in their strike range per level of Long Range Aircraft.

It works in the normal 1917 campaign, just not in your modded one.
Maybe a misclick while changing stuff?

Bavre is spot on - this seems to be the result of an unintentional misclick I made when designing our current mod, which reduced the range increase for seaplanes to 0. Since I am playing the side with all the seaplanes, I get to wear this one. Sorry for the confusion!
