Attack or Long Range subs

Post by ncc1701e »

I am curious. Which type do you prefer for US? Attack subs or Long Range subs?

Pros? Cons?

Thanks

I like Long Range for the USA.

they are better at staying out in the ocean longer which is what you need because its a loooong way to the Jap convoy routes.

+1 w slo

I like to park one off a small island. Great blockade because they can stay out there and starve the land units there.

My games so far have been fairly extreme in decision points so haven’t seen the need to invest in such. Unsure if this is representative of most games.

The distances are so extreme for the US I think long range subs are the only way to go.
For Japan if you are building subs either you are making a mistake or the Allied player is really bad.
