UK Shipyard bug

Hi,

Just to mention that the glitch with the UK shipyards came back. In one game the UK shipyards when to more than double the normal 65. I believe it was normally fixed one or two patches ago. I am playing with the latest official version.

For now I count their use every time before I build to make sure I do not cheat[;)]

I tried to find it. Not easy with Matrix search engine. Even tried through Google as it is sometimes better even for the forum.

Only LC and/or MM when the bug appeared. Can not say exactly when it appeared however.

I used to build also escorts but not for a while anymore. The bug most probably appeared after that.

Well at one point UK still has 65 shipyards existing, but the available (stockpile) shipyards are over a 100. Was something like 113 that could be used with some MM still been built in the queue, so probably 150+ total existing. My opponent in one of his other games also saw it happens. I can't say for now when exactly it happened in the game. I will keep an eye open for it tough in future games.

This is from our latest game the Germans have only ever built U-boats (no Landing Ships no MM) and haven't built any u-boats for about 3 years.
Somehow they have more Shipyards in their stockpile than they have shipyards.

This is perplexing because I am looking at my games with Hadros and there is no shipyard issue.

I wonder if your opponent is on the older version?!? The code is acting correctly.

A PBEM game created with the latest official patch. In this game, Yugoslavia, Greece, Netherlands, Belgium have been captured.
Norway has not.

And, I don't know how and when I have reproduced the same bug it seems.

All right, here are the reproduction steps for this bug. I am playing Europe 1939 in hotseat mode.

UK have two ships in the deployment queue on the first turn:
. Illustrious CV Grp
. King George V BB Grp

As you can see in this screenshot, a BB group needs 24 shipyards.

And a CV group needs 25 shipyards.

So, doing a quick calculation, UK has a total of 65 shipyards.

And 65 - 24 - 25 = 16 shipyards available. Stockpile of 16 shipyards is correct.
