i LOST 53 AP POINTS IN THIS GAME BETWEEN AIR PLANNING AND THE START OF THE GROUND PHASE, IN TURN 8. THIS WAS ALSO THE TURN THAT CHANGED TO SOVIET INITIATIVE. I BOUGHT FORTIFIED ZONES THE PREVIOUS TURN.

I see the points have gone away. Did you merge or disband units? You built a fort unit, but that's just 4 APs. You had air transport missions with level bombers which is supposed to cost 1 AP per, although I didn't see that in my test.
