AGC Turn 18

Here also its just a matter if digging and waiting for Moscow's attack.

Further south still needs more reorganising.

The two Ind Divs slowly move to the closest rail head to be sent North.

AGS turn 18

In the Ukraine I started to move to a defensive mode but luck is with me and loan Russian Div is trapped this is rare these days.

Sevastopol is almost cutoff and the Axis Allies move to cover the kerch Straits.

Losses Air

Didn't bother with a ground loss screen shot, so small not worth it, however I did start to interdict Sevastopol, and the losse were horrific, this better be worth it.

Supply Turn 19

If this was a game V a Human player it would be all over as he would have swept me back to Berlin with the way my supply state is in.

I shudder every time I look at a new week.

Stalemate in front of Moscow, still need to get the southern wing in place but the weather is not helping.

AGS Turn 19

I am in a good place here I feel out of all three Army groups.

The armour of 1st Pz is in strategic reserve and I am forming three lines of defence for the river cities.

Sevastopol is now completely land cut off, this is usually about the time ground falls beneath me, and things collapse, we shall see.

And here is another fun screen shot for me as my Armies starve from lack of supply.
The Red Army is ahead in all departments

The Crimea

Nov 2 11th Armee smashes the defences, the Luftwaffe's sacrifices were not in vain.

I'm not getting carried away with this victory but its important once the port is up and running this could help my supply issues, it also free's up a entire Army.

AGS Turn 20

The euphoria of the Crimea victory quickly fades.

For a brief moment I dabbled with the idea of putting almost all of 11th Armee in strategic reserve as I have a lot of surplus troops South.

Then news arrives that Four Divs ( 28th, 8th, 5th and 99th light ) are being sent to the Western Front.

Three of these Divs are on the Moscow Front !!!!.

What Idiot ordered there withdrawal at such a critical time, two names come to mind, Keitel and or Jodl.

Whoever, it means little now, 11th Armee will now have to be broken up with two Korps sent North.

30th Korp to the Moscow front, 11th Korp ( 5 Divs ) to relieve the 2 Pz front, there are just to many Pz Regts strung out there.

It will now be a race to get them up there and in place before winter hits.

AGC Turn 20

The line is now static, I don't plan any more straightening of the 2nd and 4th Armee's sector, this will have to do.

Its now a waiting game for 11th Armee reinforcements to arrive.

AGN Turn 20

With the capture of Sevastopol I have decided no more offensives operations in the 4th Pz sector, there is only 4 weeks before Dec and to many Russian troops barring the way.

Time to dig in, still waiting for the 2nd Armee Divs to arrive to bolster 16th Armee'e paper thin line, another race to beat the weather.

OB turn 20

Well all German Armee's have gone over to the defensive, I took Four Armee's off Assault mode a few weeks back and the last two 11th and 4 Pz this turn.

On top of the four Divs that leave next turn 1st Cav Div leaves on turn 23.

AGN Turn 21

Once again I ignore my own advice and attack across the Volhkov River, with good success though I will have burnt my Panzer's out doing it and will regret it when the winter hits its fullest.
