Have 'additional time' to play WITP AE

Post by Woollybear »

Having unceremoniously landed on my hip after a fall from my bicycle at high speed, I am now contemplating my good fortune in an additional 6 weeks of working from home (15 months so far) due to a fracture to that region, where I can continue to multi-task, lap top for work and the large screen for WITP AE.[:D]
Although new to the game, the spreadsheet is a life-saver and I'm addicted! Love the detail to this game -nothing compares outside GG games that is!
I also bought WITE 2 but just haven't got round to starting it although the fabulous hardback manual arrived yesterday. Both will keep me busy for the next few years[8D]

Note to self: stage a spill from the bicycle tomorrow. Make convincing enough to fool wife.

Should we have "break your legs so you can play more WitP-AE" service? [8D][:D]

As long as there is enough FOW to avoid an actually broken leg! Keep them guessing.

Glad your spill wasn't worse! I went down on a wet wooden bridge at 20+ mph last August. At first it seemed the worst damage was some nicely skinned knee and elbows, but the bumps did more than I thought. I developed a DVT in my right leg that I'm still managing. My spill certainly could have been worse as well.

Also, I just got word last Friday that I'll be WFH full time until at least the end of the year, when the new, details to be determined, hybrid working arrangements are planned to go in place. I've managed a few turns of AE over the last 15 months as well. [8D]

When I was eleven years old, I had a bicycle accident. I split my chest, it took 8 stitches to sew it back together, and the medical staff did not have to use a stethoscope for my heart beat - they could see the tissue moving under my ribs.

I also broke my nose then. It took 15 stitches outside and inside the nose to fix that.
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing! :o

The only thing worse than that radler lemon pee, is Stone and Wood alcoholic fruit juice.

There are some very nice ginger beers out there. Please try one.
