AGN Turn 27

Lots of attacks by the AI with a breakthrough at Leningrad, a Division is forced back across the Neva river, this is critical.

I have no reserves though, a Div is on its way but I fear it wont get there in time.

AGC turn 27

Despite my better judgement I launch some more attacks on weak enemy units scoring good success on many.

Losses End turn 27 ( mine and AI )

Well launching attacks against the AI at this time may have been fatal as there response was swift and violent.

Breaches in both Centre and South may be my undoing now.

Although the Soviet losses were high they pushed through with there attacks some serious decisions will have to be made for turn 28.

Losses turn 28

Small losses on both sides the main issues are not the amount killed but AFV damage level, with the Panzers in the line there looking bad.

AGN Turn 28 / 29 /30

The North was where I had hoped was the strongest well I was wrong, the Russians broke through the lines again at Leningrad.

I was forced to make strategic withdrawals of the Panzer units around kobona, had i stayed there they would have been trapped and destroyed.

I rushed 3 Divs to the area and pulled back to reinforce Leningrad this worked better than I thought as the AI pulled troops away from the front line as you can by the screen shot.

AGC Turn 28 / 29 /30

Some scary moments here well the Army for the most part is just holding on, they breached in some places and again I also send troops to cover as best I can.

The turn 29 attacks were lighter than the previous turn.

the first of the Guard units have arrived on the front, this is a ominous sign of things to come.

AGS Turn 28 / 29/ 30

Again AG is on shaky ground, 6th Armee has been hit the hardest, I am trying to get more troops there ASAP but the demands on the other fronts means they just have to hold at this time.

Losses Turn 30

Again low under 50,00 on both sides for turn 29, as the screen shot shows the losses before I actually have my 30th turn.

Supply start Turn 30

I am hoping that because i am now into 1942 the severe penalties will lesson somewhat on supply as there is some improvement here.

Still not that confident as the front could still easily collapse anytime.

...

malus bascially comes from 2 sources. Deep snow and/or current blizzards and, to the end of March, the hit to rail and truck freight movements.

so basically if the ground conditions revert to snow you'll get most of your normal freight, but its not till April will you really be able to start recovering (so for eg, you'll struggle to bring up replacements till then)

Dam sounds like a painful 8 to 10 weeks ahead still,I will have to look but I think so far I have had 5 straight weeks of blizzard, which is to be expected.

I'm about to start turn 32 and I think its blizzards again.

AGC Turn 30

Still touch and go here the move troops to concentrate attacks so I throw reserves there then it moves to another weak spot.

I don't know how long the line will hold.

AGS Turn 30

Again 6th Armee takes the brunt of the attacks and is pushed back, the Army's are not getting off lightly either.

Both Romanian Armies are on the verge of collapse, i am throwing every fir unit into the line.
