I'm making some very slow progress also at Sevastopol. But the losses are higher than I would have hoped. I'm wondering if
instead of bulling my way through the Soviet defenders on the northern edge, I just try to force my way along the southern
coast and approach the city from the east. I'd probably be better off making the Soviets defend as much circumference as
possible. I gave some thought to maybe doing something amphibiously but upon further inspection I discovered that I had no sea
cap. at all.

Here's what it looks like SE of Leningrad before I have moved anybody. I'm going to attempt to aim my troops in this AO toward
Moscow and see what happens.

Speaking of Moscow, this is what it looks like in T24 before I have moved anybody. I'm inching closer all the time.

I have finally captured Leningrad and the Finns are free to attack freely. In another several turns I expect to be able to
clear out the Leningrad area.

Here's what's going on to the SE of Moscow. The Soviets are in the process of building up their front lines. They have
received a lot of new units that have respawned.

I'm squeezing the Soviets down into fewer hexes so I can kill them faster. I'm in a hurry because I need those Finn troops to
push to the east.

I'm forcing my way south from Rostov and I'm making a lot of progress because the Soviets are relatively sparse. The supply
level is in the mid-20's at the tip of the spear. 90% of my planes are resting including some fighters this time because I've
been using them without letup this turn. I would especially like to open the path through the Kerch Straits. Other than that
I'm moving the troops south.

Here's what's going on around Moscow right now. I'm getting a surround started on a large group of Soviet units and I'd really
like to kill them quickly because my front lines have holes in them and I'm worried that the Soviets will take advantage of
those holes.

I'm inching closer to Stalingrad but there's still a far way to go. It's already mid-September so I need to get on the stick
to get there before winter weather hits. I don't want to fight the Soviets in the winter because of the pestilance penalty
that starts in November.

Here's a problem I discovered early in T26....I'm not making any PZL P.24's any longer and there's only 17 left. So I'm
wondering where I should park this bad boy before it runs out of P.24's. It's Rumanian so I'm guessing that I should send it
to Romania...probably at the capital for eye candy. And as soon as I'm able I'm going to swap out the IAR 80's for some other
obsolete model of aircraft that I'm not making any longer, just to get them out of harm's way.

Here's what's going on down south. The supply level is adequate for further operations and I'm making a lot of good progress.
I'm getting closer to Stalingrad all the time.

Here's the T26 view of Leningrad right now. I've got troops pushing east and other troops pushing SE
toward Moscow but there are only 21.7K HRS's assigned and that's about 5K lower than I had wished to hold it at.
That means that I need to go into a defensive stance over most of the front for the German troops and let the Axis Minor
Nations take on most of the fight. At least for a period of time that it takes to get the average strength of the LCU's to
refit and have more troops on hand for emergencies. The Soviet Winter Offensive starts around T49 IIRC and I
need to be ready for that or I may have already lost the war.

Here's a list of locations that I need to make sure I own so that these reinforcements can enter the game. Think of these as
my next short term goals. I need to grab these before I do anything else [ except for Odessa, Sevastopol, and
Moscow ].

This is what's going on to the SE of Leningrad right now. With a lot of help from the Germans the Finns are pushing east NE
and SE trying to stick to the roads and rails and forget the more difficult terrain for now.

I finally captured Tula. Going in this AO is slow because of all the Soviet resistance. There's only 21.2K HRS's still
assigned and I've lost over 29K of them. All my aircraft are green except for 3 fighter units. The supply levels are great so
far.

SE of Leningrad there's a mini-war going on. I'm trying to surround a small group of Soviet units before I attempt to destroy them. That's been my MO so far in this game...that I surround small groups at a time and destroy them before moving further east.

I'm getting closer to Stalingrad and I'm hoping to get there by T30 or so.
