Steel Panthers World At War v6.0 Available NOW!

Post by David Heath »

Hi Guys

YES you read right... the gang at Matrix knows we missed a lot of deadlines, weekends etc... well now we are trying to make up for it a little. Since here in the states is 4th of July we wanted to make our own BANG! So here it is. SPWaW v6.0 is now available for downloading. http://www.matrixgames.com/games/sp-worldatwar/index.asp

We know this patch came quick but its been in development for some time. The praise really goes to Mike Wood, Paul Vebber, Tom Proudfoot for there time and endless campaign to give you something better. We feel this is by far the best Steel Panthers game you can find!

Our little private playtest group has been loving this version. As always please make sure to give us your feedback.... we really can't wait to hear what you think of version.

Once again thank you for your support it is never taken for granted here we hope our dedication to our products shows that.

So to the best group of gamers a company could ask for. GO, DOWNLOAD and PLAY that's an order!

Wow! As a long time lurker on this board and player of SPWAW, I figured my first post should be a big THANK YOU for the fine work on SPWAW 5+ and the MC. I am enjoying both immensely. Also congratulations on the Roberts award! Now off to the front with 6.0!

This is the one. Hats off to Matrix. A special thank you to Mike Woods. Whatever you did really solved the "super Crew" and small unit problems without sacraficing infantry toughness. Nobody does it better or faster than Matrix!

Why you sssssneaky devils!!! Wow! A lady at the grocery store asked me if I was going to watch fireworks. I told her no, as it was too boring unless it was I popping them. Now I get to watch fireworks and pop them too. Wow, and I'm actually off when a patch has been released. Honker down!

Yikes, I feel like Bill Murray in "Groundhog Day"! Every time I feel like the battle day is done, someone changes the conditions for the same day. Am I to be reasonably assured that THIS will be the definitive and final version of SPWaW? If not, then at least give me time to get to Russia in the long campaign. I haven't made it out of Poland will all of the changes going on. Nevertheless, thanks for your efforts to give us the best tactical WWII game in existence, AND for the pains you've taken in incorporating the fans' expertise to fill in the gaps and perfect the game. Salute!
