AGN Turn 49

Its only a matter of time now for Leningrad, there will be no relief for the City.

Once its taken the rest of 4th Pz will be sent to the Moscow Front.

South of the City The Red Army is pushed back.

AGC Turn 49

The Moscow drive continues as the corridor to the city is widened and made secure, at Ryazan the relief forces arrive.

The Russian defences in front of Moscow are beginning to crumble as 9th Armee continues forward despite the mud and rain.

At Belgorod the Russian salient is all but destroyed, across the entire Central Front the Soviets are being driven back.

AGS Turn 49

1st Pz Armee prepares for the attack on Rostov with 17th clearing more of the Don Basin.

There seems to be little resistance from the Russians at this time.

Down South the 11th Armee moves forward.

Brought some Romanian units forward now to cover 1st Pz flanks.

Losses Turn 49

The Russian losses mount and yet they just seem to have a endless supply men to replace them.
Germany could not beat them in a battle of attrition that is for certain.

OB Turn 49

The forces are about even but like i said in the Losses post the Russians just keep sending men.

If the Germans lost 100,000 to 200,000 men a week continuously the Army would be drained well inside six months.

Supply Turn 50

Trying to get the rail lines converted as fast as possible, but its still a slow process.

I have moved every available Construction Unit out of the Reserve and sent them East.

Looking over the map there is so much rial in rear areas still not converted let alone the Font line area.

OB Turn 50

Things going well here The Red Army still under the 4 Million Mark.

As long as there are no setbacks on any other Front we can match them.

I would like to get there AFV to about the same levels as mine, I may need to try to force a battle and hopefully trap some Armoured units.

Losses Turn 50

A look at the Soviet side they have over 7 million casualties including over 4 million captured.

A rough calculation, the ratio seems 7 to 1 in my favour just hope I can maintain this.

AGC Turn 50

In my Euphoria at reaching Moscow so quickly I underestimated the Soviets determination to resist, though I pushed them back to secure my positions around Moscow there was a number of heavy counterattacks across the front.

They are throwing everything at me to relieve the city, there also massing at Ryazan.

I had plan to go in a holding stance and focus on Moscow but I now need to begin a general offensive and push the enemy back.

It appears now i will not make the July deadline.

AGS Turn 50

Like the centre situation The Red Army tries to counter my moves with its own attacks, however my troops are in strong position and all attacks are held.

In the South 2nd Hungarian and 11th Armee continue to drive the Russians I'm close to capturing Krasnodar.

AGN Turn 51 / 52

With the Fall of Leningrad I send the last elements of 4th Pz to Moscow.

Two Korps are put on refit however I renew attacks along the Moscow / Leningrad rail line, my objective is force the AI to divert troops away from Moscow hopefully.

AGC Turn 51 / 52

More counterattacks against Soviet concentrations South of Moscow results in some pockets and forces the enemy to redeploy some its troops.

I'm also sending some troops from 2nd Pz by rail the Moscow front.

Four Armee's are now concentrating against the Capital.

AGS Turn 51 / 52

I made a big push along the entire Front forcing the Russians back, but the big prize was the capture of Rostov, also 1st Pz has linked up with the 2nd Hungarian Army.

17th has forced a gap in the Russian line as have the Romanians, however Stalingrad is a long way away at this moment.

Just noticed the screen shot of Leningrad turn 51 is fine but I must have missed taking the rest of turn 51 shots, so basally turn 52 is the same as what turn 51 would have been.
