So what is this about French fans mistaking Bucharest for Budapest? [8|]
https://sportsfinding.com/six-french-co ... ce/102458/
I've got to believe that story isn't quite as it seems. I mean really? But then......
Well, I thought that a lot of Americans were bad at geography. But maybe the French had a little too muchor something with a similar effect.[;)]

I visited both cities (loved Budapest, Bucharest was rather meh...) It is ***very hard*** to mistake one for the other. Romanian has a lot in common with Italian (we can basically speak each one his own language and have a basic understanding of what we are saying) and "sounds" like Italian to a non Italian speaker. Hungarian, OTOH, is one of the hardest languages in the World (a mixture of Slavic, Finnish and Turkish I'm told). Also, the two cities are totally different. It would be like, for an American, mistake New York for Washington D.C. (or, better yet, Washington D.C. for Seattle, Washington...)
So, it was the French team that ended up visiting where these guys are staying. I would underline more this part of the story with my friends [:)]

And yes, English players are seriously overvalued. That is caused by the stonking and insane wealth of the Premier League. It's why the EPL dominates the world of football.
Best wishes,

So...
The Welsh Cawl take on the Danish Stegt flæsk.
And The Italian Ragu alla Bolengnese take on the Austrian Tafelpitz.
Tasty. Anyone care to make a predilection or two?
Come on Wales! You can do it!
Best wishes,
Steve

Wales 0-4 Denmark
British football summed up.
First 15 minutes - what they can do. Balls in behind, forward passes from midfield.
Rest of the game - What they usually do. Sideways, backwards, no invention, no ideas - Denmark's first goal showed what can be done by accurate, positive, forward passing that splits the midfield, then with a runner to receive a pass while driving forward. The second half was just ridiculous. There was a spell where the Welsh were passing side to side in their own half for about 3 minutes - they were 0-2 down at the time.......
In fairness, and as said earlier, Denmark are actually a pretty good side. But Wales were poor. There was a rumour Ramsey and James were playing in the second half.... right.
...oh and Spurs really need a new left back.....

SURFSIDE, Fla. (AP) — A soccer game may have saved Patricia Avilez’s life.
Avilez’s brother-in-law lives in a condo located in the wing of a 12-story beachfront condo building that collapsed in a town outside Miami early Thursday, killing at least one person.
When the brother-in-law isn’t there, Avilez routinely stops by to pick up the mail and make sure everything in the condo is in order.
“Last night I was thinking, “Let me go over there to sleep over night,” she said. “I was looking at the soccer game and I changed my mind and I stayed home.”
She said she woke up at 5:30 a.m. Thursday and headed over to the apartment. On the way, she heard on the radio about the collapse.
“And then I came here and it’s gone,” she said. “Everything is disaster.”

Joakim Mæhle looked wonderful tonight. Along with a lot of other teammates, of course.
Edit: My Mæhle comment was a suggestion that perhaps Spurs should consider him as their new left back.

Denmark are very tidy team and handled Wales quite comfortably. Nevertheless, I was a bit disappointed in the Welsh performance. They seemed devoid of ideas. Good experience for the Welsh lads though and now Denmark will face either the Netherlands or the Czech Republic. I wouldn't write them off in the quarter finals.ORIGINAL: warspite1

Let me give that some thought and consideration, followed by a lengthy, and in-depth response.
No.
